'Ello, 'ello, 'ello, what's this... time for tea?!'
Alice Tait's illustrations of London's soldiers, guards and policemen are lined up around her latest mug, showing classic British colours and style for when you need a comforting hot drink. Spot the 'beefeater' with his ravens!
The Yeoman Warder Ravenmaster (aka 'beefeater') has the responsibility to maintain the welfare of the ravens of the Tower of London.
It is believed ravens have been living in the Tower of London since at least the time of King Charles II and legend maintains that should the ravens ever leave the Tower, the Tower and the monarchy will crumble. The warders comment that the "real beefeaters" at the Tower of London are the ravens, which receive a daily ration of beef from Smithfield market.
This product is presented in a sturdy blue gift box and features a card label and grey 'Alice Tait' branded ribbon on the handle.
